Dear Beloved Family in Christ,
After months of planning, prayer and discernment, St. William is excited to undertake our work to strengthen us as One Family Under God. Living as faithful stewards requires planning for our future of making missionary disciples, which includes realizing our campus vision of creating ministry space where we can connect with one another and experience Jesus in our midst.
From the beginning, St. William has been a community centered on faith in God. This is a place of encounter, growth and spiritual care. We carry the hope that all seekers, both lost and found, will call this home. My hope is that each of us, wherever we are on the journey, may become a well-equipped disciple who goes out with joy and confidence in the Lord.
To this end, creating ministry space is critical in helping us execute this plan. We are growing, we are opening ourselves to the movement of the Spirit, and we are dreaming big dreams for our future. Building on our story to date, we are now ready for the next chapter of St. William.
This page outlines our various campus projects in detail and includes the necessary information for you to consider making a prayerful, sacrificial gift toward making this campus vision a reality through our One Family Under God Capital Campaign. My hope is for broad participation such that every parishioner pledges and feels ownership in their parish home. Thank you all for being part of our St. William family. May God continue the good work he has begun here as we continue this journey of discipleship, following the way of Jesus. Count on my continued prayers for you and your loved ones.
In the love of Christ,
Fr. Edwuin Cardona
Pastor

When we built our sanctuary in 2005, St. William of Montevergine set a long-term plan to construct additional buildings on our campus, including an office and parish hall, to support future growth. We could never have imagined at that time how much our St. William family would grow over the next two decades. With over 400 families as part of our parish, the time is now to realize this vision from the past. Our leadership has set an ambitious goal, outlined below, that we can only achieve with the help of the entire St. William family. The construction of these buildings will allow our entire community to come together under one roof to learn, to celebrate, to grow together and to be one in the name of the Lord.
As we prepare for the sale of our existing office and rectory space on North Main Street, our first step is the construction of a new parish office, classrooms and meeting space. This new structure will create areas specifically designed for parish staff and parishioners to conduct the business of the church and produce new classrooms to provide relief from our current overcrowded religious education classes. Construction of this space will provide:
We are currently paying rent to house our pastor, and with growth, we expect to need further diaconal staff in the future. To meet that need, we will renovate the existing parish hall into a rectory. This renovation will provide:
To accommodate our growing number of religious education classes for children and adults, as well as provide a gathering place for our expanding parish family, this phase aims to create spaces for growth. This construction will provide:
The planned sale of the existing rectory property on Main Street also will help fund this project with expected proceeds of $400,000 from the sale.
Our original chapel means so much to so many of us here at St. William. In this phase, we will restore the history and character of the building, as well as provide a place for private prayer and reflection for our community of believers, daily Mass and smaller more intimate services and catechesis events.
